What file formats does iDiecut.com offer?

All of our shapes and designs include both SVG and DXF files formats. In addition, many of the designs are also offered in GIF and PNG formats as well. Be sure to check each shape to see what files are offered to make sure you receive the files you need to cut or print your favorite shapes.

How do I buy the shapes from the iDiecut.com website?

To add a shape or icon to your collection, simply select the shape and add it to your cart. When you are done shopping, simply complete your purchase through the check-out process.  After your purchase is complete, you will immediately receive an email from us with the links to download the shapes you have purchased.  Its that easy! 

What forms of payment does iDiecut.com accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as Paypal.  You may select your payment method during the checkout process.

How do I use these shapes with my Silhouette or Cameo?

1. Open up your Silhouette software.

2. Go to “File” and select the “Import to My Library” option. An open screen will pop up.

3. Locate your saved iDiecut.com files on your computer and select the image to be imported.

4. Select the “DXF” (AutoCAD Interchange File) option in the pull down menu. (If you fail to do this step, you will be unable to see any of your saved files.)

5. Click on the file you wish to import. In the pop-up screen, you have the option to give the shape a title, add keywords, include a description and credit the artist. We recommend including this information for all shapes in order to sort shapes later.

6. Once you have entered all the details, select “ok.”

7. The pop-up screen will close and return you to the Silhouette software.

8. Select the “My Library” button in the Silhouette software from the left side bar. Select the “My Own Designs” option.

9. Your imported designs will appear. Double click on the design you wish to cut, and it will appear in the cut window of the Silhouette software.

10. At this point, you can resize and manipulate the design before cutting the shape using the steps and instructions included with your Silhouette software.

11. Follow the Silhouette procedures for cutting the shape.

(NOTE: For intricate designs, we recommend slowing the speed of your Silhouette blade for the cleanest cut.)

What if I accidentally delete a file I have purchased from iDiecut.com

Prior purchases are recorded on the My Account section of the website.  You may re-download a prior purchase one time by going to the Completed Orders page in the My Account section.  The Completed Orders page can be found by logging into My Account using the username and password you were provided when you set up your account.  After you have logged in, click on the Completed Orders link on the upper left hand side of the page.  

What is a coupon code and how do I use a it?

A coupon code is simply a phrase or word that is entered at the time of check out that applies a discount to your order.  To use a coupon code, you will be prompted to enter the code during the checkout process.  If you do not enter the code, you will not receive the discount.  To make sure the discount is applied to your order, please make sure that the coupon code using the exact letters and numbers that we have advertised.

Does iDiecut.com offer Gift Certificates?

Yes.  To purchase an electronic gift certificate, please click on the Gift Certificate link at the top of any page.  You will be asked to enter the name, email adress and other pertinent information required to deliver the Gift Certificate.  After you have completed the checkout process, iDiecut.com will email the Gift Certificate directly to the recipient.

How do I redeem my Gift Certificate?

To redeem a gift certificate, simply add the products to your cart as you would normally do when paying with a credit card.  When you are done shopping, proceed to check out.  During the check out process, you will have the opporutnity to enter a gift certificate code as payment for your order.

How do I contact support if I have a question?
